For best results, toilet bombs can be used in a few different ways.

To deodorize. After flushing, drop a toilet bomb in the bowl and let it fizz out. No need to flush again.
To clean, drop 1 bomb in the toilet and let sit overnight, hit it with a toilet brush in the morning and you're good to go!

I love these things! You can use them for cleaning your bowl, just drop one in and let it do its thing, or for making your bathroom smell awesome! Jellyman is still one of my favorite scents and I'm going to be super bummed when I use my last one!

I love the scent of this and it makes my toilet so fresh and clean.

Meh

My jar arrived a bit jumbled, some of the corners of the cubes were broken so there's a lot of dust in the container. They smell nice but I don't think the smell lingered much at all, but I think it deodorized a bit. They did clean the area below the water line well though - my hubs got up before me and didn't know to scrub the rest! Nice to throw in to combat "potty" odors though.
