For carpet, area rugs and cars: Sprinkle powder on carpet, let sit for a few minutes, then vacuum.
For fresh smelling shoes: Sprinkle for a little inside shoes and let sit overnight.

Received this in the first FCS order I placed so it's one of the first products I tried. The scent is great. I've used other brands of carpet deodorizers before, but this is by far my favorite!
