I wasn't impressed with this and don't like patchouli.
I end up with a lot of build up on my scalp in the summer, thanks to all the sunscreen I use. The salt pieces are large, like other reviewers said, and didn't feel like they were going all the way to my scalp but I rubbed in one small scoop, rinsed and repeated. Afterwards the build up was gone and my hair and scalp felt super clean! It smelled faintly "masculine" to me - maybe that was the patchouli, but didn't linger. Not sure if i would buy this, but it's really nice to have on hand for the summer.
I didn't like the scent at all. Smelled kind of minty to me, even though mint's not in the scent description. I also agree that the salt particles are a little too big, but it worked on my fine hair with a little bit of rubbing.
I liked this for product build up ECT. It takes a little work to get down to the scalp, but my hair feels nice afterwards so it's worth the work.
I was excited to try this product and wanted to love it, but it never penetrated my hair to my scalp. Maybe my hair is just too thick
