This is my first color changing polish, and I am in love! It does take a few layers to get the color just right, but it’s a perfect fall combo and lasts a good while when paired with a nice top coat. The scent even lasts a few days! I am very impressed with this polish overall.
The crelly formula for this nail polish did not make me happy. It was very streaky and it would take too many coats to get it opaque. Plus, the scent was a little too 'Grandma's underwear drawer sachet' for me. If you dig a strong rose scent, then you will love the way this smells.
I hesitated to write my review at first because I did not like how I needed to use 5 coats to get an opaque color. But as the week went on, the nail polish stayed on so well, I don't care how long it took to paint and dry! The color changing ability is so fun, and the smell of Rose Jam for the first day was fun as well.
I've never used a color change nail polish before, so I didn't know what to expect. As with most FCS products, I was not disappointed! This polish goes on very thin, so it took quite a few coats to get the desired color I wanted. It was easy to apply and changes very quickly with temperature changes. I put a clear gel coat on top to help it last longer and the color still changes fine and I can still smell the scent through it.
I got this polish on a swap site and turned out it was a good swap! I never tried things like this before. It really changes color under cold water and it's pretty cool. Sometimes it's almost invisible on the nails and the next minute it's dark. Smells good too. I used double coat on my toenails and it also looks nice and lasts long.
