This aluminum-free formula contains grapefruit seed extract, which provides natural, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. With summer just around the corner, now's the perfect time to put our new veggie protein deodorant to the test! "Veggie protein deodorant?" Heck yeah! Featuring a natural protein base that neutralizes odor-causing enzymes to simple salt. How cool is that?!
While it's not an antiperspirant, and it may need to be applied more than once per day, it's an awesome alternative to commercial options. Oh, and my 11year old daughter loves it! :)

This is my first time using this type of deodorant. As a person who has used industrial strength anti-persistent her entire life, I was trepidacious going into this. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement! My daughter long extolled the virtue of this deodorant and I have to agree she was right. I rarely have to reapply in the day. My razor is no longer clogged with antiperspirant-- I no longer have dry itchy skin under my arms.
The scent is quite pleasing it is neither too sweet nor too spicy. Highly recommend this for people who are looking to try vegetable protein deodorant!
Great fresh scent. Even though I do need to reapply a few times a day when using it in th summer, the product itself lasts a long time. Love the FCS deodorant formula!
The Wendy Bird FCS deodorant from the monthly body box got me hooked on FCS deodorant.
I was so hesitant at first. From lingering fears of old aluminum deodorant damage to clothes.
I find my b.o. only comes out at night if I forget to apply again before bed.
I apply twice a day. Once after my morning shower, then again once I put my pajamas on.
If it's a rare thing that I need to change my clothes twice in one day, like after outdoor work, etc. I always reapply after changing a shirt.
I also gave up eating flour / sugar. I actually notice I am sweating less now.
I also noticed a huge decrease in sweating years ago after I stopped using antiperspirants.
The antiperspirants made me sweat more by trying to stop me from sweating.
I love all the creative smells FCS makes for deodorants. I definitely do not get bored sniffing my pits. :D
